Today I am in my cottage & practicing makeup. You’d think that when you have a dear, longterm friend & houseguest who happens to have a similar colouring to you & allegedly cares about your wellbeing & thriving, he’d be only too happy to help with this endeavour, no? No. He has declined to sacrifice his beard and submit to having gunk dabbed on his face in order to advance my makeup skills and has beaten a hasty retreat. Tut.
