So which is it? Is generative AI going to be widespread in offices and businesses across the world, and highly disruptive to our jobs? Or is it an overhyped dud that generates dubiously usable output, and isn’t up to the task of actually replacing human workers? The answer, unfortunately, may be “both,” with a heavy side of “it all depends.”
