Erika Kirk legitimately creeps me out - she is soooooo phony. I attributed this to her life on the beauty pageant circuit, which is full of phonies, but there may be something more to it.
On Reddit there’s a rumor that the missionary organization she was involved with was involved in child trafficking: reddit.com/r/conspiracy…
One of the comments correctly focuses on Kirk’s parents, who are deliberately excluded from her Wikipedia page (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E… ), which is very curious given that someone of her background (faith-based Christian tradvalues) would typically highlight such things. The comment states [edited a bit for clarity]:

Reading between the lines, if this is accurate, it’s possible Charlie's ascent to prominence may have been allowed in part because his wife has a national intelligence spook background where she served as his handler.
