Right now, stories about thrifting/secondhand shopping, collecting, estate sales, and objects with history get tucked under Lifestyle, Shopping, or Design, but they don’t quite belong there.
Not everyone who loves vintage and antiques considers themselves a designer. That framing feels a bit stuffy. Vintage and antiques aren’t about status or having a perfect home; they’re for everyone.
Thriting/secondhand shopping isn’t just about buying things either. It’s about choosing meaning over excess. About finding pieces that feel worth keeping. About the stories objects carry, and the ones they’ll hold long after we’re gone.
Those stories deserve their own space. 🤍
