As I very slowly attempt to bring my old Twitter posts into Substack, I’ll be sharing some of them via email and others, I won’t send emails out for. It’s fun to see what my initial takes were on the early part of the catalog.

This was back in 2013 when ECM Jazz was exclusively posting on Twitter and limited by the 140 character limit. There were no threads and no images back then, just a hot take that I sent out to the world when I had literally no followers.

I’m interested to remember my takes and also interested to see if any of you have a reaction.
