To my conservative father who loves to hunt big and small game, fish, camp, and explore the outdoors: you instilled a love for that lifestyle in me. You taught me to pack it in and pack it out. I watched you pick up other camper's litter left at our campsite and throw it in your truck bed to toss when we went into town to restock. You taught me fire safety. You taught me how to hunt and fish, to be a good steward for our planet, and to respect the natural world to which we're so lucky to have access.
