After our (very necessary) deep dive digression into the Balkans, we are finally bringing the threads together. As you can see from the length of the episode (second longest in the entire history of this show), it was a long road to get us here. But we’re finally here, looking at the effort made by radical Palestinian nationalists—namely the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem—and the Nazis to marry the ideologies through the largest propaganda campaign in the Third Reich’s history, apart from their efforts in Soviet territories. We look at the role Hajj Amin allegedly played in the Holocaust (which I’d like to believe is the deepest dive available) and most importantly, the long term effects of this alliance.
