To my fellow nurses 🥰
It’s Nurse’s Week. And if no one else says it loud enough, let me.
Thank you!!! 🙏
Thank you for showing up when you’re running on fumes.
Thank you for holding hands when the machines won’t stop beeping.
Thank you for fighting for dignity in a system that sometimes forgets what dignity means.
You’re not just clocking in.
You’re saving lives.
You’re translating chaos into care.
You’re fighting for humans inside a machine that doesn’t always make room for humanity.
The hours. The grief. The policies. The burnouts no one talks about.
But we do it anyway. Because it matters. Because they matter!
So here's to us!
To the ones who’ve cried in the med room.
To the ones who’ve laughed through 12-hour madness.
To the ones who’ve stayed late, stood up, spoken out.
We carry compassion like armor.
We lead with grit.
We walk into rooms full of fear and bring something else with us—Hope.
We are the heartbeat of care.
And we’ve got to stick together.
Because healing? It’s not just for our patients. It’s for us, too.
Let’s keep showing up.
Let’s keep fighting for each other.
Let’s keep remembering why we started.
Happy Nurse’s Week.
You are not alone. You are not unseen. You are the reason someone made it through.
And damn—
You deserve to be celebrated! 🥳
