I feel ya Jason. I too live in Austin and I essentially had to lie to my clients and to my own family about my vaccination status for over a year. I was protected by immunity from infection before the vaccine was available, but for some reason, everyone forgot medical science and thought literally everyone needed a jab. I really didn’t feel like explaining what natural immunity was and why it meant I didn’t need the vaxx. they just couldn’t hear it. since then I have been honest that I lied and most don’t care but a few family members and clients are very hurt that I lied, even tho I was RIGHT! this has caused damage to my relationships even to this day...
