C: see, interesting people never want to talk about it. Boring people won’t shut up. Me, I’m a horror movie aficionado. So you know what I’m doing this afternoon.

Me: oh hey i write horror

C: wish i liked reading, i’d check it out. Where do you write?

M: Substack

C: they got creepypasta type stories on there?

M: probably…

C: i’m more of a movie watcher (i hear this a lot when i bring up writing). You watch scary movies?

We talked movies for the rest of the encounter. I rarely watch the mainstream stuff, kind of a back shelf on Shudder girlie, but my man had OPINIONS on all the recent movies. Gave me homework🤣
