Unseasonable Warmth

My heavy winter coat still hangs untouched in the closet. The electric fireplace, which usually provides warmth and comfort, has seen little use this season. While the unseasonably warm January days are lovely for long walks and leisurely afternoons spent sitting outdoors, I find myself longing for the comforting ritual of cozying up beneath soft blankets, sipping hot chocolate, and watching the snowflakes dance and swirl outside my window. Perhaps soon, the crisp chill will return to the air, calling us back to the snugness of winter's embrace.
