The Democrats are in a bind. Any effort to replace Biden on the ticket begins with him choosing to step aside.
In other words, they have conceded the future of the Democratic Party to a man who almost certainly has dementia, possibly Parkinson's, and clearly is not fully mentally competent.
The party which is supposed to be expert at governing has made a boneheaded mistake of historic dimensions.
There will be consequences.
