David Axelrod is keeping the public pressure on Biden to drop out.

However, he's not supporting an alternative. People would navigate the transition better if the Democrats approached this from the positive perspective.

As it stands, they just want Biden gone, and they seem indifferent to how that happens.

Bear in mind that ordinary folks call what's happening to Biden “elder abuse”. Putting the screws to him now just makes the Democrats appear petty and vindictive.
