• due to a combo of becoming limited due to fewer truckloads; along with obviously higher transport costs;

• luxuries such as peaches and avocados becoming prohibitive;

• everyone trimming back on luxuries leads to lower sales; volumes at stores

• as well wrecks specialty farmers;

• expectation of 30% of entire crop left to rot on the branch;

• savvy consumers hoarding fruits in form of canned or dried or jams;

• not a single box of raisins on any shelves;
