Yeah, data access is the real bottleneck. Whoever holds the raw operational data from the physical economy (logistics traces, grid flows, factory telemetry) ends up with the training asset that actually matters.

You're right about the pollution too, and synthetic text scraped off the web is getting thinner by the month.

Which is why the incumbents in agriculture, energy, and freight sit on a better hand than they think. Whether they keep that data portable, or hand it over when they sign the vendor contract matters a great deal.
