An alternative perspective - I find emojis in text incredibly annoying, I find it hard to read text laden with emojis, it’s like someone poking me in the head while trying to read, they are like little obstacles in a sentence that I’ll trip over. I think I’m mildly autistic (seems to run in the family) and it’s a sensory input that just creates extra noise for me.
