Here is something I believe more the longer I do this. We are not nearly as divided as we are told we are. Most people, whatever their politics, want the same handful of things. To afford a doctor. To keep a roof over their kids. To feel like tomorrow might be a little lighter than today. A lot of the division is manufactured by people who profit from us staying angry at each other.
