I find Mr Tapper’s statements and his book to be his confession. Perhaps this is old age talking but, back in the day, when you messed up at your job you didn’t tell everybody that you messed up. You kept quiet. Acknowledged your mistake. And, corrected your actions.
Mr Tapper spouts cover up as well as not being able to access the Biden White House. Mr Tapper, you’re a journalist. It’s your job to overcome these difficulties and obstacles. You need to get the facts and get the story. No excuses. Go big or go home.
Whining about cover ups and non-access is a confession of your own and our media’s failure(s). Why couldn’t you discover the cover up during or before the election? Why couldn’t you attain access to the Biden White House? It’s all bunk if you ask me. You and the rest of the talking heads just weren’t trying.
Many, many old school journalists overcame tougher obstacles than you are whining about. I would say shame is in order here but, it appears you have none for failing at your job.
