People who run memberships / communities (particularly newsletter based), do you run free trials?

I noticed since I heavily pushed a live class last week, with templates and a worksheet I've had about five people accessing the content on the free trial seemingly with no interest to join.

In itself, I don't mind so much, I want to be of use to people. But one let the trial role over so I had to process the refund, another couldn't log-in so I spent time when I was with my kids at the weekend helping them.

I totally get that the trial is there for people to do just that 'trial' but the direct correlation to this specific post and it feeling like people just wanted it for free was really disheartening when you are a solo business owner.
