I admire Bridget Riley’s positivity. I am somewhat less graceful about that purloining.

Two books of which I have loaned out multiple copies over the years and never received back:

A Canticle for Liebowitz by Walter M. Miller, Jr.

Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis

And, aside from the fact that I need to replenish my stores of these books, I’m totally okay with that, because it means that these books are out there in the world doing their work.
