And right on cue, the spray-tanned crocodile of Mar-a-Lardo slithered out onto Truth Social to mourn a man who is not yet dead, while quietly reminding everyone that the lie that killed him was actually true. Have a read. It is a fucking masterclass in capo behaviour.

What a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the Radical Left Lunatics, Democrats ALL — AND HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING! Let us go through the receipts, because Trump's followers have memories like a goldfish on smoko and his own staffers are praying you have already forgotten.

The bill Rudy never got paid

In February 2024, Rudy Giuliani sat in a bankruptcy deposition and told the court that the Trump campaign owed him roughly $2 million in legal fees. Not expenses. Fees. The campaign had paid most of his expenses. They never paid him for the work.

The work, mind you, was Rudy fronting the Four Seasons Total Landscaping era, getting hair dye smeared down his face on television, claiming international communist conspiracies, and accusing two Black Georgia election workers of trafficking ballots like they were trafficking cocaine. All on Trump's behalf. All to overturn the 2020 election Trump lost by 7 million votes.

In April 2023, Rudy was so cooked financially he hauled himself down to Mar-a-Lago with his lawyer to literally beg Trump for money in person. Trump's response? A Trump-aligned PAC threw $340,000 at Rudy's data storage bill. Not his legal fees. His storage bill. The hard drives.

Read that again. The man who blew up his entire career running point on Trump's stolen election fantasy got tossed enough cash to keep the file cabinets switched on. The geriatric Palm Beach pallbearer would not even spring for the actual lawyers.

What "treated so badly by Democrats" actually means

Trump's post wants you to believe that Rudy was destroyed by "Radical Left Lunatics, Democrats ALL".

This is a lie so brazen it should leave a mark.

Rudy Giuliani was destroyed by two Georgia election workers, Ruby Freeman and her daughter Shaye Moss, who he defamed on national television in service of Trump's fraud campaign. Rudy claimed they had passed USB drives "like vials of heroin" while counting ballots. It was bullshit. They sued him. In December 2023, a Washington DC jury awarded them $148 million.

Three days later, Rudy filed for bankruptcy.

Rudy was disbarred in New York and Washington DC for the lies he told defending Trump in court. He was indicted in Georgia under RICO. He was indicted in Arizona for the fake elector scheme. He was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in Jack Smith's federal election interference case against Trump himself.

Every single one of those bullets came at Rudy because he was Trump's man. The Democrats did not put Rudy in that hospital bed. Trump put Rudy in that hospital bed. And then Trump stiffed him on the legal fees while he was bleeding out.

The cannibal pattern

Rudy is not the first foot soldier Trump has fed into the wood chipper. He will not be the last.

Michael Cohen went to federal prison after paying hush money to a porn star to protect Trump's 2016 campaign. Trump turned on him and called him a rat.

Paul Manafort went to federal prison and kept his mouth shut. Got pardoned. Went straight back to working for the boss.

Steve Bannon went to federal prison for contempt of Congress. Trump shrugged.

Michael Flynn pleaded guilty, got pardoned, and was pushed out into the QAnon wilderness because he stopped being useful.

Peter Navarro went to federal prison. Crickets.

Now Rudy. The pattern is so consistent it is basically a corporate org chart. You serve the boss. You take the bullets. You go broke. You go to prison. You go to bankruptcy court. And then, when you are too broken to demand the back pay, the bronzer-glazed bin chicken lurches out of Mar-a-Lago to call you "fabulous" in your obituary and use the headline to relitigate the same lie that killed you.

The grift inside the eulogy

Look at the structure of that Truth Social post one more time. This is not grief. This is not mourning. This is a man using his own dying lawyer's hospital bed as a billboard.

A True Warrior. Best Mayor BY FAR. Treated so badly. AND HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING. They cheated on the Elections.

Trump cannot help himself. Even now. Even as Rudy is fighting for his life in a hospital bed his ex-boss never paid for, Trump is using his condition as a vehicle to reanimate the corpse of the stolen election lie.

This is the move. This is always the move. The capo never mourns the soldier. The capo monetises the soldier. The eulogy is just another fundraising email with a black border and a defibrillator emoji.

The bit nobody at Fox will say

Rudy Giuliani in 2026 is not the man who walked through the dust at Ground Zero in 2001. He is a broken, bankrupt, disbarred, twice-indicted, defamation-judgment-saddled 81-year-old who blew up the last decent chapter of his legacy carrying lies for a man who would not piss on him if he were on fire, unless there was a camera and a fundraising opportunity hovering nearby.

That is not the Democrats' fault. That is not the Radical Left's fault. That is not Ruby Freeman's fault, or Shaye Moss's fault, or the New York Bar's fault, or Fani Willis's fault.

That is Donald J. Trump's fault. Specifically. Personally. Exclusively.

And the only tragedy in that Truth Social post is that Rudy will probably die still believing the orange wood chipper operator was his friend.

Look at Rudy. Yeah, mate. Look. And remember what he was used for, who used him, and who left him bleeding in the carpark when the work was done.
