As I continue my vegan experiment I have been doing some reading to supplement my thoughts about it. This is particularly well done exploration of the animal-based reasons for veganism and how to approach some of the theory and issues. It's been a week and a half, I can report physically a reduction in inflammation but no other major shifts. Emotionally, I do think that there is a relief to eating cruelty free. Logistically, I am finding my flow - it's recentering food for me in a weird way. I also am definitely seeing some changes in my taste preferences. And I am learning what works and that I am going to need to expand my cooking skills to make this sustainable.
