I admire Richard Gadd, a writer, actor, and comedian. His Netflix drama Baby Reindeer captured my attention from the beginning to the end.

The middle was equally surprising and compelling.

I appreciate that his life story is not clean and neat. He doesn’t try to tie up with a bow.

He shows us his growth, foibles, and steps back.

He permits me to tell my story, in which I play many roles, such as victim, hero, saboteur, friend, and foe.

I don’t have to be perfect to share my story.
