We, authors, have a deadline on 30MAR2026 to make a claim on the Anthropic AI lawsuit. I’m not eligible because my books were not stolen (mixed blessing – I feel mildly put out). In talking with my publisher, I mentioned, think of how many author’s will earn more from their $3000 payout than they earned in book sales.

$1.5Billion just doesn’t seem enough when the industry conspired to circumvent international and US copyright laws by buying books from thieves in Russia. When will Meta, Microsoft, Musk, Google, and ChatGPT be brought before a court.
