Make money doing the work you believe in

The problem with artificial intelligence as I see it is not what it can do, but rather how we conceptualize what it is doing particularly how we speaking of it in an anthropomorphic framework. What I mean by this is that we often speak of AI and its cognitive capabilities, envisioning AI as having some similarity with what it does, a conglomerate of complex mathematical processes, and what humans do when they think. And in here lies the problem: when human beings think they are not doing math yet that is precisely what machines are doing when we call them “thinking”.

Therefore, in my opinion, the problematic nature of so-called artificial intelligence is one of mislabeling, and I’m inclined to think that a large part of this mislabeling is intentional and malicious.
