Even so, I am still afraid, both of what’s happening now and what’s yet to come, especially as the current administration continues to play policy games and slash immense amounts of funding for vital services. I am afraid of, as so many already have or will, losing access to healthcare. I am afraid of continuing to, as so many already have or will, losing the most basic of civil and human rights. I am afraid of the waves of ableism and misogyny that continue to crash down, harming not just disabled women, but everyone.
