Is it really necessary to squabble like this? I think you should venture to have the librarian on as a guest on your podcast. I've listened to him as a guest on other podcasts and he's articulate and we'll read.
I think his main gripe in this completely unnecessary squabble is your unnecessary use of superfluous descriptive pejoratives in relation to content creators like MW. Like it or not, tabloids have their place in the MSM architecture and beating down on those who simp on page 3 doesn't build bridges. In the greater scheme of things it's better to point out how the machine is trying to shift the narratives on Epstein so a good crisis doesn't go to waste, than to lump those caught in the whitewater vortex into a category of déplorables to be left behind. Either the tide lifts all boats or whatever boats survive won't be much use in the face of inevitable tsunami.
From my perspective it's a classic case of high/low culture and group membership. Personally I think it's all very boring.
Also, if you have it in you to step back and consider that not everyone can write a cogent essay, perhaps you can also consider taking a step back and trying a different direction? Is it not better to agree to disagree, yet find common ground? The librarian doesn't produce slop content.
You might find he provides a great perspective on what goes on at the other end of the Atlantic.
