That’s how long I spent in an atelier, working with the kind of fabrics most people only read about. Wool that costs more per metre than some people’s monthly grocery bill. Silk that moves like water. Linen that holds its structure after a full day in summer heat.I thought I understood clothes.

Then I walked into mass retail. And everything I thought I knew got more precise.
