love (hate) it when a nobel prize winner waxes poetic about her love for and use of AI to help her write fiction….and also claims this novel will be her last because she thinks readers aren’t interested in complex literary fiction. Big publishers aren’t publishing as much complex literary fiction - which sucks!! - but/and that is extremely different from readers not wanting to read it.

And for one of the privileged few literary writers in a position to easily publish that work to say something like this is so disappointing to all the literary writers who have purchased and read HER books and are fighting harder odds than ever to get their novels to readers.
