Day 31/100 of #the100dayproject

Sketchbook explorations in acrylic gouache mainly (👁️ in graphite).

I don’t think I did this little bird justice (swipe ➡️ for reference photo my dad sent me yesterday) - painting birds is still a little bit outside my comfort zone (compared to drawing them in graphite). I’m glad I did anyways. I took him out of the snow and put him in a garden with floxgloves.
