From the archive: Looking through old images and wanted to share this early winter photo. I made it in the mid 90’s, shot on B&W film, probably Kodak Tmax, probably with a Nikon F3, manual focus lens, somewhere in Northern Michigan. No plan to shoot. No idea where it is. My wife and I were cruising backroads in the fall when an early snow squall hit and we passed this scene. I knew I had to stop and make an image. Still a favorite 30ish years later.
