“The secret relating to the pleasures of intellect, knowledge, and soul is that their apprehension and experience are based on taqwā [God-concsious piety]. Thus, one’s pleasure and delight in intellect, knowledge, and soul are in proportion to one’s taqwā.

It should be remembered that the sweetness and happiness derived from knowledge are not only limited to listening to it; rather, there is far greater pleasure and happiness in rendering services and sacrifices for it.”
