This piece made me realize I’ve never wanted a participation trophy 🏆 more than I do right now. The past nine months have taught me that no matter how many strategies or backup plans I line up, I can’t out-smart actual living. I guess you just can’t dodge the experiences you didn’t anticipate, or even want. But if I can't get around it, I guess the only way is through.
