Y’all, if your senators and congressmen are not reading the fucking NDAA before signing it, ask them why. Ask them every single day. Because THIS is the type of shit buried in there (and by buried, I mean it’s on page 2496/3100, and yes, I’m reading the ENTIRE NDAA).

Changing a few words changes the entire legal meaning, as I’m sure any attorney worth their salt will tell you.

Note how he removes “on board a covered vessel” to make it legal that he’s striking people in the water, and note how he adds “on board a covered vessel” to excuse his OWN crimes of destroying property that is subject to forfeiture.
