Hi! Love your writing. :) I’m always curious to learn how people balance their careers with their creative pursuits. Especially with the latter — you noted creative writing, zine-making, and outdoors stuff as what you do with your free time. Do you feel like you’ve struck a good balance between what you have to do and what you want to do? I’ve fallen into the decision-fatigue trap when it comes to how I spend my free time (especially on week nights once I get home from my corporate gig!) and often opt to “just rest and try again tomorrow” instead of spending the 1-2 hours I have for creative pursuits (especially with creative writing — it often comes down to not wanting to spend more time on my computer in the evenings when I already sit at one for 40 hours a week). I know it’s just a muscle I need to work, etc., but like I said, curious for your take if this is something you’ve ever struggled with.
