Make money doing the work you believe in
Ten years ago, my dear friend, Debbie Barrow Michael and I joined hands and hearts with writers from around the world to share 31 Days of Miracles (debbiebarrowmichael.blo…, praising our God for His wonders. Included in the testimonies is one from Debbie’s Catholic daughter.
Today, would you join me in praying for Debbie and her family, beseeching God for a miracle for her, as she goes into hospital for major surgery on what is the birth date of her adoptive son Roma, who went home to be with Jesus and through whom Debbie and so many of us came to know many more miracle wonders of God (read her blog debbiebarrowmichael.blo…and her latest book amazon.com/dp/B0DP2DK4G… and you will see what I mean).
I got to know Debbie in finding her (first) book on Amazon (amazon.com/Greatest-The…) one day. Longing to better understand my own Mum, an adoptive Mama also, who had recently died of cancer, I read her book and wept and wept and wept. Then, I joined her and many others, in praying for her Roma and his birth family, as Roma walked through a deeply painful prodigal journey that led not just him but Debbie and all of us reading along, more deeply into the merciful and compassionate heart of God for His children.
A few weeks after his return to faith Roma died in a roofing accident, at work. It is hard to imagine the depths of pain Debbie and her family have walked through … and Roma’s dear birth sister has walked through, losing her beloved brother twice. Pray with me for Debbie and her family, both her family in the US and in the little country of Georgia, bordering Azerbaijan, where Roma was born and spent his first few years.
Lord, we beseech you for a miracle for Debbie today. Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy. Sint Laurentius, martyr in your faith, pray for us. Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us. Saints of Georgia, pray for us.
