The app for independent voices

Seth Harp has issued a public statement in the aftermath of the controversy of his post yesterday, which reported that Col. Chris Countouriotis was the recent/current commander of Delta Force. “X admins locked my account and required me to delete certain posts in order to log back in,” he wrote, without again naming Countouriotis.

To be clear, I have not been able to independently corroborate the reporting of Countouriotis, but I have heard that it was well-sourced, and Harp became the preeminent journalist covering Delta Force after the release of his book on the unit last year, “The Fort Bragg Cartel.”

The stream of direct and implied death threats against U.S. journalist Seth Harp for the crime of reporting Col. Chris Countouriotis as the commander of Delta Force — and therefore the leader of the forces which kidnapped Nicolas Maduro — only keeps coming.
