Love this post. It reminds me of when I went to see Spandau Ballet in all their glory at Wembley Arena with my Mum. It must be a little over 40 years ago! Damn that's a long time ago. But I clearly remember her complaining about the bass being so loud that it was reverberating in her chest. 🤣🥰

On the train journey home, I thought about how one day she’ll forget the setlist and have only vague memories of the concert. The videos will probably be long gone from her phone. But I’ve no doubt she’ll always remember that she went with her mum, and that it wasn’t as bad as she thought it would be after all.
