Lugh----this was tried in India many years ago. Their leaders banned quite a few modern machines with the object to make jobs. Failed miserably. I believe it was Milton Friedman that said, why ban motorized equipment for building dams and moving earth, why not just make using spoons the tool of choice for moving earth.
