I’ve always had this strange underlying fear of being misunderstood, which might be a major reason I became a writer.

Eleven years later I’ve realized that even when I explain myself as clearly and succinctly as possible, it still doesn’t guarantee everyone will understand my point.

I don’t have a solution.

But I think it’s important to remember (especially if you have the same fear) that there are things you can control and things you can’t—and not to let your happiness be determined by the latter.
