I had two people come up to me this weekend and tell me they liked my Substack.

That is probably the most meaningful compliment I’ve ever received in my career. This platform really has given me an avenue to create exactly the kind of content I want without considerations of algorithms or content length. It’s also afforded me the opportunity to be compensated what I think is an amount commensurate with the amount of work I put into every post.

Now, getting paid is awesome, but meeting people out there who actually read what I’m putting out there is really what fills me with gratitude. I can’t thank you all enough.
