It is petty and loathsome of me to enjoy that the hellscape of rage and disproportionate vitriol directed at me, lead to so many people reading my piece, who otherwise wouldn’t have seen it and who don’t know who I am, who then surprisingly enjoyed the piece and followed me, and now overnight I have crossed over 50,000 subscribers, and woke up to so many lovely messages from new readers.
