A complete collapse of the nervous system, normally caused by insurmountable distress. My pulse slowed. My blood pressure plummeted. My digestive system halted. I started going to the bathroom once every 7-10 business days. My hunger and thirst went away and my body started gaining weight rapidly while I was hardly eating. I slept constantly, but always felt exhausted and dizzy. I was constantly cold. My nightmares went away. I felt no pain. I felt no sadness. I felt no anger. I felt no love. I felt nothing. I couldn’t stand the light. I found it hard to move. I couldn’t see the point in life, and I just wanted out of this numb, weighted, dark prison. It wasn’t depression. This was repression to the point of collapse.
