Twitter is definitely not going as planned for Elon. The reality is simple, without creators, platforms dont exist. For a guy like me who runs a really niche thing like my custom options database to model trends, something like youtube is laughable, I think I made like $25/mo or something. So I quit that, substack let me give people a free trial, those who saw the benefit of the content are now paying and although it’s not even 200 people as you can see above, its on pace for $85,000. That’s insane, meanwhile I have to pay Elon $8/mo on twitter for what? For him to dictate what i can and cant share?
