The Onion has a new deal to acquire InfoWars, but like the previous deal rejected by the courts, this one also requires court approval. We’ll see.

As I said in 2024, I’m fine with someone else taking Infowars over and/or offline, but I’m skeptical that parodying Alex Jones isn’t counterproductive, versus simply depriving him of his biggest platform.

Then again, I just write about satirical publications; I don’t operate them. So maybe I’m wrong.
