I’m just absorbing this news, but 3 thoughts on The Onion restarting ONN:

1. Excellent news!

2. One of my favorite online bits ever, “Today Now,” employed a real-life news anchor (the guy) alongside an actress/performer, and I think that made a difference, even though both were excellent.

3. I hope they let this happen organically rather than force it:
