Reading through this, all I could think of is "boy how dumb we've become".
Who the fuck are Ian Miles Chong, Posobiec, Brick Suit, etc. and why do they have such a media following? They are the c- students at high school, illiterate, inarticulate, amoral, lazy, etc. This is what people follow today?
It’s easy to dismiss them. We have to accept that they have these followings because they are representative of SOMETHING.
I don’t want to understand them to justify their actions. I want to understand them to find a cause for why they are the way they are so that we can do something to intervene and bring back as many of these individuals as possible.
These influencers understand what makes us mad. They mainline that knowledge to create conflict with non-MAGA people so that they can “fight” or “…
What if that SOMETHING is just grievance, laziness, ignorance, stupidity, phone/social media addiction, etc.?
Influencers don’t have to have a movement or principles. Maybe it’s anger for anger’s sake?
I think the something is all of those things and probably other things as well. Your description highlights symptoms (laziness) and illnesses (social media addiction). We need to disentangle those things.
