Democrat voters and the upper middle/upper classes in America like to believe that educated, compassionate, and discerning people tend to accept elite narratives; this obviously implies the corollary: people who question those narratives are unintelligent or uncompassionate.

Instead I believe independent thinkers and curious people and those who tend to do deep research on interesting subjects tend to question elite narratives, and the credulous, the conformist, and the non-brilliant tend to accept them.

As time goes on this trend will become more and more pronounced. With every year there are fewer people who accept what the media and elites tell us. Many are becoming disillusioned… very few of the disillusioned are being converted.

Where will this lead? I’m not sure… but I’d love to hear what your think.
