I am excited to announce the news that my book Make Good Trouble (Illustrated by Devon Blow and Ashley Lukashevsky)was named to the 2026 Notable Social Studies Trade Books list! 

The Notable Social Studies Trade Book Awards are an annual project of the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) and the Children’s Book Council (CBC). This award list features K-12 annotated titles and are selected for their emphasis on human relations, representation of diverse groups and are sensitive to a broad range of cultural experiences.

The final Annotated List will be published in the May–June 2026 issue of Social Education and promoted at the 2026 NCSS Annual Conference in December.
