I've been there. I'm right in that boat with you. The good news is that after losing the novel I had sold because my editor finally pulled the plug I went back to the drawing board, and wrote what I consider the best story I've ever written. (The bad news? It came out in 2021. The good/better news? It's still in print and earned out.) Please hang in there - "The Girl in the Well Is Me" is one of my favorite books of ALL time. You're brilliant.
